A Product Requirements Document (PRD) is an important way for a Product Manager to express the key ingredients of the particular product. It is a document that is used to communicate the main aspects of the product with the engineering team and the business team. It is a collaborative document, and a good product manager will allow the engineers to provide input and incorporate their input into the Product Requirements Document.
